Hair Removal for the whole body.

An intense pulse of light is pulsed into our target (chromophores). Hair, Redness, Vascular, Pigmented lesions, Sun damage.

As the photons from the light hit the chromophores in the skin the light turns to heat, destroying the unwanted hair or lesions, all while leaving the healthy skin unscathed

If you are receiving full face treatment, it is highly recommended to begin a prescribed home care routine at least two weeks prior to your appointment.

A skin care routine can be prescribed at your patch test and consultation.

A LED or Bespoke facial prior to your IPL appointment is recommended so i can get to know your skin and how it responds.

No prep is required for spot treatment or hair removal.

Always follow standard guidelines.

NO sun exposure or fake/spray tan one month prior to treatment.

No roaccutane for min 6 months prior to appointment.

No injectables for min 2 weeks prior to IPL, depending on type of filler used.

Doctors skin clearance may be required for pigmentation.

Yes you can also receive any facial of choice and LED light therapy.

For most people you will feel warmth and perhaps a felling of an elastic band snapping.

When you arrive for your treatment I will ask you to fill in a comprehensive consultation form, you may also complete this in the days prior.

Your treatment room is set out with all your sterile equipment and products required for your treatment.

Your luxurious bed linens are all ready for you, you can even choose what type or music you would like played, or maybe a podcast?

Your treatment includes a cleanse, the treamtment and appropriate after care products.

Your skin may feel warm at this stage.

An application of Oleogel or treatment gel is then applied to hydrate, calm and protect.

All done.

It is recommended to also take home a Simka bio cellulose mask if you receive full face treatment.

This will hydrate, soothe and cool your skin.

That night at home you should gently cleanse with gentle cleansing milk and reapply Oleogel.

Day 2

You may cleanse and apply SPF.

Please stay out of the sun and limit excessive exercise the following day.

The following day some people may experience mild redness or inflammation.

Its handy to have an extra Simka mask in the fridge for just such an occasion.

You can also a cool compress, gently press into your skin.

If you have a histamine response, chat to you pharmacist about some solutions. All symptoms should subside in the following 24hrs.

You may reintroduce your normal skin care routine.

1-2 weeks Post treatment, you may notice your pigmentation or spots get darker, It will then begin shedding off or being reabsorbed by your lymphatic system.

Your skin may produce tiny pimples or be a little dry and flaky, don't pick or squeeze. This will pass.
